Move with Intention: Using Holistic Wellness Techniques to Move Forward

Updated: Feb 24

It's impossible to hold onto what once worked, while we continue to change; our circumstances, our age, the people around us. The merging between eastern and western methods, conventional approaches mixed with intuitive guidance and trusting our gut is part of intuitive wellness technique we are hard wired and born with.

Think outside the Box...

...and integrate the following into your life to cultivate deeper self awareness and create sustainable change —not just for a month or two, but for a lifetime. Aligning your intention to your actions is one step deeper.

Set an Intention for the Year, Month or Week!

The profound practice of setting a sankalpa. This Sanskrit term translates to "intention" and embodies a heartfelt commitment to align your actions with your deeper purpose. When you establish a sankalpa, you tap into your innermost desires and aspirations. It allows you to connect with what truly matters in your life.

Ask yourself:

  • What do I genuinely want to cultivate in my life?

  • How can I align my actions with my core values?

Once you've identified your intention, it's time to....

  • anchor it into your daily life.

  • writing it down

  • incorporating it into your daily practices.

Incorporating your SANKALPA by using it as a mantra.

  • doodle it on paper

  • begin your daily journal writing your sankalpa several times

  • use it during meditation as your mantra

  • say it during warm ups in the gym or between sets

  • share it on your social media

Let it be the theme that moves you through your day. Let it be your North star. Doing this reinforces your commitment, guiding your choices and actions throughout the year.
